There is only power from God. When we understand this, we know that all suffering is an illusion When we think we have power we suffer. But when we know that we are powerless we find peace. Suffering is state of find that is caused by the ego. The ego is the root of all evil in the world. Pain comes from the ego and the ego comes from pain. When we understand this they both dissolve.
Time is a product of the ego. The ego makes remember the past and have ambitions for the future. When we understand this, time still progresses but are always in the present moment in our minds and that is a peaceful state. The ego elongates time in both directions, past and future, but this is illusion. Time is actually a single point or a single instant.
When we have an ego, karma happens at different times but all karma actually happens simultaneously. Karma is seen by some as a force. When the ego dies, and time is a single instant we can have peace.
